IGN Investigating 'Dead Cells' Review Allegedly Plagiarized By Its Nintendo Editor [Update]

It’s a stormy day for IGN, as the site is being accused of publishing a review that appears to have been plagiarized by its Nintendo editor, Filip Miucin. The review was of Dead Cells, a “roguelike-metroidvania” game from Motion Twin, and the IGN review in particular attracted an especially large amount of attention due to its very high 9.7 score. Late last night however, a YouTube channel called Boomstick Gaming posted a video titled “IGN Copied My Dead Cells Review: What Do I Do?” which has amassed over 100,000 viewers in the last twelve hours. Miucin's last tweet besides the review itself was that it was the first IGN video review he'd edited himself, and that he "can't want to share it with you all."
